APT SatCom Limited is a domestic enterprise with Ku/Ka system civil commercial geostationary orbit high-throughput communication satellites, focusing on providing high-throughput satellite communication services for Maritime, Aviation, and Land. It is a national high-tech enterprise established in July 2016, with a registered capital of 2 billion RMB. The company's headquarter locates in Baoan, Shenzhen, with satellite ground gateway stations in Beijing, Xi'an, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, and Perth. APT SatCom Limited's first satellite， APSTAR-6D (also known as 'Shenzhen Star')， is the world's first high-throughput satellite customized for broadband satellite communication. Currently，APSTAR-6D has the largest communication capacity among Chinese civil and commercial satellites, with the largest number of beams, widest coverage, and strongest signal in the Ku/Ka band . The satellite is positioned at 134° east longitude, covering approximately one-third of the Earth's surface in the Asia-Pacific region, including China, Russia, Japan, South Korea, India, Australia, New Zealand, and Hawaii.
